Sharing Missionary Experiences

Elder M. Russell Ballard recently challenged members of the Church to utilize multimedia as a missionary tool so we have just updated www.RestorationMercantile.com with the capability for users to share missionary moments and experiences in the hope that all who visit will be edified.

Search engines rely on keywords to find sites and Google's search algorithm checks to see how often a site is updated to ensure it's current. By adding missionary experiences frequently, those who are searching the internet will more likely find what they are looking for.

We wanted our website to be more than just a place to sell ties. The whole reason we started making LDS-themed neckties in the first place is to spark interest and have people ask questions about the Church. So, heeding Elder Ballard's counsel, we wanted to take it to the next level.

Other sections that have been added are Church News, A Prophet's Voice (quotes by general authorities) and downloadable LDS resources. We plan to update the site frequently so if you have any ideas, please let us know.

Please take a moment to go to www.RestorationMercantile.com and click on Missionary Moments to share your experience. Also, pass along to your LDS friends so that we can get the word out and begin to build a strong LDS community that not only edifies other visitors but shines light on who we are as Latter-day Saints while strengthening our own testimonies.
